SUMMARY:CUP FEST – Pre-Cup Festival featuring Mother’s Finest
DESCRIPTION:Get ready to party with Mother’s Finest the night before the Carolina Cup! The first ever CUP FEST will take over Downtown Camden and is FREE to attend. \nExperience live music all day long on two stages! Local and regional acts will be featured on the Greener Pastures Brewing South Stage\, and the event will end with the legendary Atlanta band known to be “Too Funk for Rock\, Too Rock for Funk” taking the Main Stage at 6:00 pm. Free parking will be available at Camden City Arena\, 420 Broad Street\, and free shuttle service will run from 12:00 pm until 9:00 pm\, provided by the King Haigler Express. ADA accessible seating is available near the mainstage. For more information\, call 803-549-5648. \nMothers Finest has always been a band impossible to force into artificially-labelled boxes. One of the most energetic and charismatic groups to cut a swath through the music industry\, Mothers Finest defies boundaries and creates its own genre. Led by superbly talented vocalists Glenn “Doc” Murdock and Joyce “Baby Jean” Kennedy\, and anchored by the tight\, crunchy rhythm section of Gary “Moses Mo” Moore and John “Red Devil” Hayes on guitars\, Jerry “Wyzard” Seay on bass\, and Dion Derek on drums\, Mothers Finest drives through the pocket like a Mack truck and peels the paint off the walls. Now past their fiftieth year of crushing the groove and bangin’ their fans’ heads upside\, Mothers Finest hasn’t lost any of their signature energy and passion. These veterans of the music industry – and Georgia Music Hall of Fame inductees – continue to tour\, delighting long-time fans and drawing many new ones into the fold. \nCUP FEST activities will also include a classic car cruise-in hosted by River Rat Classics\, a Kid Zone\, arcade and mini golf for kids of all ages\, specials from downtown merchants\, street vendors and food trucks. In case of inclement weather\, the street festival will be canceled and the rain location for the Mother’s Finest concert will be Camden City Arena\, 420 Broad Street. Seating will be limited and occupancy will be limited to the first 1\,500 people.

SUMMARY:Noel Freidline: The Piano Men

The two iconic piano men helped define the 70’s and 80’s. Masters of some of the most indelible melodies in pop music history\, Elton John and Billy Joel easily helped write the soundtrack for an entire generation. Noel Freidline captures that same energy and verve when he presents the music of these two musical titans. \nThe show will feature some of their biggest hits: “New York State of Mind” “Rocket Man” “You May Be Right” “Our Song” and of course\, “Piano Man.” You won’t be required to sing along\, but it certainly won’t be discouraged!

SUMMARY:An Introduction to Historic Ceramics and Archaeological Curation
DESCRIPTION:NPS Curator Alicia Paresi on the power of curation: how the proper management of ceramic artifacts can lead to enduring insights \nAlicia Paresi is a registered professional archaeologist with three decades of experience in the private\, state\, and federal sectors. She has a passion for material culture and its potential to provide new historical insights. Proper curation practices are an essential part of the archaeological process that are too often skipped. However\, well-curated collections can be reanalyzed even decades later\, adding value to the original excavation. As the Northeast Region Archeology Curator with the National Park Service\, Alicia advises and trains parks on proper archeology collections management including identifying and dating all types of artifacts. \nThe event is in person\, but Alicia will be joining us remotely. The presentation will be streamed live at Liberty Hall in the Revolutionary War Visitor Center at Camden. \nRegistration is free\, but donations to the program are always greatly appreciated.

SUMMARY:Red Hot Chilli Pipers
DESCRIPTION:February 28\, 2026 | 7:30 PM\n\n\n\n\nTickets: $50\nVIP Tickets: $70: Includes premium seating & two beverage tickets\nLocation: Wood Auditorium \n\n\n\n\nAbout the Show \n\n\n\n\nBagpipes with attitude. Drums with a Scottish accent. A blazing rock band and show so hot\, it carries its own health warning! \nIt’s Bagpipes. It’s Rock. It’s Bagrock. AC/DC meets the poet Robert Burns. Where rock anthems sit comfortably alongside the great tunes from the glens and the mountains of Scotland. \nIt’s The Red Hot Chilli PIPERS – (NOT the Peppers!) — a 9-piece ensemble consisting of pipers\, guitarists\, keyboards\, and drummers — who have been rocking the world from New York to Beijing to Melbourne and everywhere in between with musicianship of the highest order and a passion for pipes that will leave you breathless. The band has four music degrees from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama and all the pipers and drummers have played at the top level in bagpiping. \nFormed in 2002\, The Chillis have fast become a global phenomenon\, taking their signature ‘Bagrock’ sound to the masses with their unique fusion of rocked up Bagpipes and clever covers of popular songs from all genres. Their trademarked sound is a unique fusion of traditional pipe tunes – like “The Flowers of Scotland” and “Amazing Grace” (done Chilli-style\, of course!) — and contemporary anthems like Queen’s “We Will Rock You”\, “Clocks” by Coldplay\,  and a fantastic rock medley of “Deep Purple”\, “Smoke on the Water”\, and AC/DC’s “Thunderstruck”! \nPraise for the Red Hot Chilli Pipers \n“These are my boys!” exclaimed Sir PaulMcCartney after rocking out to a Chilli performance. \n“Awesome!” said film star Ewen McGregor after he guested on drums with the Chillis \n“Gotta get me some of that Red Hot Chilli Pipers! I WANT some!” tweeted actor Samuel Jackson after seeing the band perform on NBC in the summer of 2012
