Nationally recognized jazz trumpeter, composer, and bandleader Mark Rapp returns to the Arts Center this fall, bringing his acclaimed group for an unforgettable evening of music!
Known for his lyrical yet adventurous style, Rapp’s playing is deeply rooted in jazz tradition while boldly exploring new creative directions. His global resume includes the Newport Jazz Festival, the Blue Note in New York, and collaborations with icons like Roy Hargrove, Esperanza Spalding, and Dave Brubeck. We are excited to welcome him once again to our stage.
As founder and Executive Director of the ColaJazz Foundation, Rapp has built one of the Southeast’s most vibrant jazz communities through festivals, education, and outreach. Named a “Top Emerging Trumpeter” by Downbeat Magazine, he continues to inspire audiences worldwide with music that connects, uplifts, and transforms.
