*A Note to Parents of Young Children from the Artist

“Riding Out the Storm” is a visual and literary journey about bladder cancer and its consequences. The show’s themes include serious illness, surgery, thoughts of suicide, the human body, and divorce.

This exhibition is not intended for young children, rather, a mature audience prepared for a frank and honest representation of the disease and all that losing an intimate body part entails.

Thank you for your understanding.
